OUR OPEN POSITIONS

We are seeking North Carolina’s most passionate therapists and child maltreatment experts who are committed to transforming the lives of children impacted by trauma and reshaping their futures.

OUR PARENT COMPANY

The Craven and Pamlico Counties Children’s Advocacy Center is operated by Southmountain Children and Family Services, which has two key arms of service: a one-of-a-kind foster community (Southmontain Estates) in Nebo, North Carolina, and ten children’s advocacy centers (CACs) across North Carolina. Together, these services provide comprehensive care, therapy, and support for children in foster care and those affected by abuse, trauma, and neglect.

OUR CULTURE

Southmountain empowers our staff to collaborate, inspiring communication, problem-solving, and autonomy in their roles, ultimately creating a positive impact on the children and families we serve. We trust our employees to prioritize teamwork with respect and fairness. Outcomes are important, but we believe we can achieve our goals while nurturing an environment that supports the importance of mental health and work-life balance. We invest in our team, allowing them to explore their full potential, thereby cultivating the highest quality workforce and creating opportunities for advancement.
